The Scottish Fishermen’s Federation is delighted to throw its support behind Seafood Week by launching a series of new information sheets on some our most popular types of fish called ‘Your Sustainable Fish Choice’. Each day throughout the week we will focus on a different type of fish, as well as highlighting some great-tasting recipes.

The seas around our coasts abound with fish that are harvested sustainably by our fishermen. So, please take a look at our sustainable fish fact sheets and find out more about how the fish are caught and their versatility in the kitchen!

What is your favourite sustainable fish?

The fish and shellfish that will come under the SFF spotlight are cod, haddock, whiting, saithe, mackerel, herring, plaice and langoustines.
